The Comptroller-General of Customs hereby invites all importers of Goods to Nigeria to a Town hall meeting scheduled as follows;

Venue: International Trade Fair Complex, Lagos

OFFICIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE REGIONAL TRAINING CENTRE

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, will be commissioning the WCO Regional Training Center, Gwagwalada, FCT Abuja.

The official commissioning is scheduled to take place on Thursday, the 8th of December, 2011 by 0900 hrs, at the venue.

Invited guest are to be seated by 9:30 am.

NIGERIA TO HOST WCO POLICY COMMISSION IN DECEMBER 2011

Nigeria Customs Service has been granted the right to host the 66th Policy Commission meeting of the World Customs Organisation. 

The Policy Commission is the key decision – making body of the WCO. The meeting holds in Abuja between the 5th – 8th December 2011

OFFICIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE CUSTOMS BARRACKS

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Good luck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, will be commissioning the Customs Barracks, Kuje, FCT Abuja.

The official commissioning is scheduled to take place on Thursday 31st March, 2011, by 0900 hrs, at the venue.

Invited guest are to be seated by 9:30 am.

2011 INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS DAY CELEBRATION

The International Customs Day Celebration comes up on Wednesday, the 26th of January, 2011. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Knowledge: A Catalyst for Customs Excellence”.

The event will also double as the Comptroller-General of Customs dinner/awards for 2010 later in the night.
